Blow Out Preventers (BOP)
WNS Lowery has a full line of BOPs for a wide range of applications. Units are available for use with working pressures of 1500, 3000, 5000, and 10,000 PSI. Flanged and Threaded connections ensure there is a BOP for any application. Rams are available for all standard size Polished Rods.
Integrated Tee BOP
The WNS Lowery Integrated Tee Blow-Out Preventor (L-ITBOP) is a compact low-profile BOP with integrated flow outlets. Two 2” NPT outlets facilitate additional flow to maximize production. All parts are heat treated to increase hardness and wear resistance to extend the life of the BOP.
The unique 45° flow outlets offer easy adjustment to any flowline height. This design allows for a shorter stack up which in turn creates a larger stroke length and increased production.
The Pressure Balanced Ram design ensures easy operation requiring only 100 ft/lb of torque to seal. Two 1” NPT ports allow for pressure monitoring above and below the rams.
Model 150 and Model 300 BOP
The WNS Lowery Model 150 and Model 300 Series Economy Blow-Out Preventers (BOPs) offers an economical solution quickly shutting off a well by sealing around the polished rod. The Model 150 & 300 Series BOPs have a reinforced Huber-style ram block providing a reduction in ram block extrusion. The ACME threaded end seals against O-rings in the body providing a pressure tight seal while eliminating the risk of cross threading.
Model WNS-HP6 BOP
The WNS Lowery Model WNS-HP6 Performance Style Blow-Out Preventer (BOP) offers the most simple and efficient way of protecting against blowouts when working wireline or small polished rods. The ram seals on the precision machined body and the polished rod providing a tight seal. The design also allows for easy maintenance on the BOP while still installed on the wellsite. Options are available for Standard or Sour Service
Model L-150T and Model L-300T BOP
The WNS Lowery Model L-300T and L-500T Series Performance Style Blow-Out Preventers (BOPs) offer an advanced solution to quickly shut off a well by sealing around the polished rod. The Model 300T & 500T Series BOPs have an innovative ram block seal design that eliminates the possibility of the seal extruding due to the increase flow caused during opening and closing the BOP. The BOPs have a pressure balanced ram design that aids in the closing process reducing operator effort. Every unit is pressure tested prior to leaving the factory and suitable for low temperature and sour service applications.
